About

David earned his degree in Psychology and Fine Arts from Bemidji State University. While there, he participated in study abroad programs to China and South Africa, Student Senate, Art Association, and the BSU Rugby Club.

Following graduation, he attended the University of Montana - Missoula where he earned his Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; completing both clinical and career counseling internships, working as a Career Counselor on campus.

After completing his professional degree, David worked at the Western Montana Mental Health Center, as a Clinical Outpatient Therapist, providing individual, couples, group, and family counseling in a community mental health setting. He returned to Minnesota in the summer of 2018, transitioning into a shared practice setting before branching out to create Momentum Life Counseling with his wife and business partner, Brandy.

Brandy La Roux, BA, DBO

About

Brandy earned her degree in Psychology from the University of Montana - Missoula, where she developed her own independent study exploring the relationship between culture, diet, and health in a comparison between the USA and Japan.

While in school, she worked at the SpectrUM Discovery Center, a children’s science museum and learning center, focusing on STEM education. Additionally, she volunteered her time coordinating community fundraising events to support the local community and rural outreach programs.

Following graduation, she went on to work in administration for various national & international companies before transitioning into mental health to join David in building Momentum Life Counseling as the Director of Business Operations.
